Quality Engineer

VDL TBP Electronics is a leading company in EMS, dedicated to delivering the highest quality products to our customers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Quality Engineer.

What are you going to do?

As a Quality Engineer, you play a crucial role in both daily quality issues and process improvement. You maintain relationships with stakeholders regarding quality agreements and complaint follow-up. Together with 5 other colleagues, you analyze why a product or process does not meet the quality requirements. You perform a root cause analysis and implement improvement actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

Your duties also include:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures;
  • Analyzing quality data and reporting findings to management;
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement process improvements;
  • Investigating and resolving quality problems and customer complaints;
  • Documenting problem solving processes and results;
  • Supporting market teams in complying with quality guidelines;
  • Preparing and supervising internal and external audits.

What are you bringing?

We are looking for a stress-resistant Quality Engineer with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude. You are able to identify and solve problems, and you provide the necessary technical support. In addition, you facilitate corrective measures to effectively address quality problems. In addition you have:

  • MBO 4 / HBO, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, technical business administration or a comparable direction;
  • Experience working in a production environment;
  • Are you familiar with quality tools such as 8D methodology, FMEA, fishbone diagram and 5xWHY;
  • Do you have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
