 Product Engineer

Practical Technician - Engineering to Order - High Tech Industry

As a Product Engineer you are responsible for the development of a wire harness that meets the customer's requirements in terms of quality, material selection and costs. In addition, the wire harness must also meet the requirements regarding manufacturability and production processes, the engineer is the bridge between (internal) customer and production.

 The work consists of analyzing customer requirements and drawings, component selection, making design/manufacturing drawings, tooling and production process selection and supporting production during prototype and series production. The engineering department is a dynamic workplace with a variety of different projects and activities with a hands-on mentality where you can be found both in the office and in production to bring theory and practice together.

 What do you bring?

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably through a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• You can come up with “out of the box” solutions and easily translate customer requirements into a new product or solution.
• You are accurate, precise, dynamic and have an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of Autocad 2D/ 3D.
• You have good communication skills and are proficient in spoken and written English.
