Head of Finance

As Head of Finance, you are responsible for a reliable, complete and timely recording of our financial administration of our branches in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You manage a team of two administrative employees and work closely with the Manager Finance & Control. In this versatile role, you are both coordinating and executive active in the financial department and you contribute to the further digitalization and optimization of our administrative processes, including in the field of reporting and analyses.

Given the future growth we envision, this role also offers potential for further development and expansion of responsibilities in the future.

What are you going to do?

Financial administration: You ensure correct, timely and complete processing of our financial administration.
Process improvement: You identify opportunities for more efficient administrative processes and implement improvements.
Reports & analyses: You prepare monthly and annual reports and analyze financial data.
Tax obligations: You take care of the periodic tax returns.
Annual accounts: You compile the annual accounts file for the accountant.
Managing a team: You manage and coach the team members in the finance department.

What are you bringing?

  • Work experience & skills: You have experience in a similar role, work independently and accurately and have strong organizational skills. You have an excellent feeling for numbers and insight into the meaning and reliability of those numbers.
  • Course: You have completed a higher professional education in a financial field (such as Business Economics, Accountancy or Business Administration).
  • Team spirit: You are a team player who shows initiative, is persuasive and values a good working atmosphere.
  • Analytical skills: You have strong analytical skills and can identify and implement improvements.
  • Extra plus: Experience with AFAS Profit is a plus.
