(technical-commercial m/f)

For our location at Wiltonstraat 25 in Veenendaal we are looking for a Sales Engineer for 32-40 hours per week.

The Sales department consists of a team of a (collaborating) operational manager, fellow sales engineers and an account manager who visits external customers. There is an open and informal atmosphere. Your workplace is equipped with all modern conveniences.

 

FUNCTION CONTENT:

  1. Sales activities:
    • Identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships.
    • Advising potential customers on products or solutions, often with technical explanations.
    • Negotiating prices and contract terms.
    • Making quotations and concluding sales agreements and achieving sales targets.
  2. Technical support:
    • Providing technical advice to customers to find the best solutions for their needs.
    • Matching customer requirements with the technical capabilities of the product or system.
    • Guiding customers in the implementation of the technical solution (possibly in consultation with other colleagues).
  3. Collaboration with internal teams:
    • Collaborating with Assembly & Engineering, R&D and other internal teams to translate customer needs into workable technical solutions.
    • Following product training courses.
  4. Market and product knowledge:
    • Continuing to monitor market developments and technological trends.
    • Understanding the competition and positioning the product or system relative to alternatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This is a function at MBO-4 level. The background of the required education is in the field of Commercial employee, Commercial Economics, MEAO, NIMA-A or equivalent. Or a Technical/IT education with additional sales courses. If you have a different background, but already have extensive experience as a Technical Sales Engineer at another employer, we also invite you to respond.
