Who are we looking for? 
As an Application Specialist Development you play a major role in developing and testing new applications, particularly for the Petrochemical industry. Product improvements and testing are also part of this. You are responsible for the application setup and testing of GC(MS) and HPLC applications and/or hardware. In addition, writing application and sales notes and providing training on the developed hardware and applications are also part of the work.

As an Application Development Specialist you will also provide support to the Analytical Test Lab and Service Team. 

In addition, your responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing project assignments.
* Installing or converting, testing, optimizing & troubleshooting applications on Da Vinci systems/analyzers.
* Processing the results in measurement reports and preparing documentation.
* Transferring applications to and supporting the Analytical Test Lab, Service Team, and Sales Department.
* Providing customer demonstrations on instrumentation and software. 

What are you bringing? 
We would like to invite you for a conversation to get to know each other better if you:  

* Have a chemical/analytical background;
* Have several years (at least 3) of work experience as a lab analyst with chromatography systems (GC, GC-MS, LC) or a similar position;
* Have an independent, accurate and customer-friendly attitude;
* Have creative thinking skills;
* Speaks and writes excellent Dutch and English;
