Are you a creative and technically savvy R&D engineer who can integrate software and electronics? Then we're looking for you! At Cryo Solutions BV, you'll work on innovative products from concept to completion in a small, dynamic team.

The R&D Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving components and systems within new and existing products. The role focuses on translating technical concepts into feasible solutions in close collaboration with other disciplines within R&D. The engineer also contributes to prototype construction, testing, and the realization of the final product.

What are you going to do?

• Developing software for microcontrollers in C/C++.
• Design of printed circuit boards and electrical systems.
• Product development of medical devices.
• Monitoring the integration of software and electronics within projects.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to bring products from concept to production.
• Researches the market and the wishes of employers and/or customers and carries out tests.
• Drawing up technical documentation.

Who are you?

• HBO education in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• >5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with microcontrollers and C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of printed circuit board design and electronics.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English, spoken and written, German and French are an advantage

• You have knowledge of IEC 62304
• You have knowledge of cryogenic applications.
• You have technical insight: you understand and oversee complex technical systems (mechanical and electrical) and can translate these into practical solutions.
