Business Development Engineer (full-time)

A Business Development Engineer who combines technical depth with commercial curiosity, understands how products are applied, asks the right questions, and collaborates with customers to build sustainable solutions.

What you're going to do
As a Business Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for your own client portfolio in the Netherlands. Your role revolves around connecting client needs with the right technical solutions from the Texim portfolio.
In concrete terms, this means that you:
- analyzes customer needs and translates them into appropriate product and system solutions;
- projects guided from concept phase to series production;
- acts as a technical point of contact for customers, supported by internal product experts;
- works closely with Customer Support and colleagues in sales and product management;
- maintains contact with manufacturers and our partners;
- supports customers during trade fairs and technical events;
- actively contributes to expanding and deepening the customer base.
You stay continuously informed about new technologies and market developments and know how to translate these into concrete opportunities for customers and Texim.
Your responsibilities?
- Managing and monitoring customer and development projects.
- Preparing and following up quotations.
- Proactively inform customers about changes, conditions and options.
- Monitoring turnover, margin and costs per customer.
- Ensure clear internal and external communication.
- Coordinating service and complaint handling.
- Keeping project and customer data up to date in the CRM system.

Your Profile
- Completed technical bachelor's degree (e.g. Electronics, Computer Science) or equivalent through experience.
- Demonstrable technical basis and interest in modern electronics and systems.
- Several years of relevant work experience (engineering, support, application engineering, etc.).
- Commercially curious and strong communication skills.
- Independent, proactive and comfortable in customer contact.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- A sense of cooperation and a healthy dose of humor.
