Who are we looking for? 

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for getting our GC, GC MS, and LC systems up and running and keeping them operational at customer sites. You install and commission these systems, resolve complex technical malfunctions – both on-site and occasionally remotely – and perform preventive maintenance and repairs. Additionally, you support users in their daily operations and provide training so that they can work optimally with our systems.

You act as the technical point of contact for customers in the Limburg region. You work largely independently from our branch in Geleen, relying on the support of fellow engineers where necessary. Administrative duties are functional and limited: what is needed to provide good service, nothing more.

What are you bringing?

We would like to invite you for a conversation to get to know each other better if you:

• Have a chemical/analytical background;
• Have at least 3 years of work experience with chromatography systems (GC, GC-MS and/or LC) or demonstrable in-depth knowledge;
• Have an affinity with hardware, computers, and basic IT (interfaces, drivers, networks);
• Have an independent, accurate, and customer-friendly attitude;
• Speaks and writes clearly in Dutch and English;
• Preferably reside centrally in the province of Limburg.
