From loud problem to silent solution: innovation in MRI technology

Two years ago, UMC Utrecht faced a challenge: failing Faraday cage filters were hampering progress in making MRI scans quieter and faster. Thanks to a collaboration with Elincom Electronics, which originated during an earlier edition of the Medical Electronics Event, an innovative solution was found. In this presentation, UMC Utrecht and Elincom Electronics share how they are paving the way for MRI scans at frequencies of 20 kHz – beyond our hearing range – with advanced EMC filters and other technical breakthroughs.
