igus® BV for over 2 decades igus® BV was founded in the early 1990s by Dick Prins as a subsidiary of igus® GmbH in Cologne. Initially started on its own as a Benelux branch, but after a few years Belgium and Luxembourg continued on their own. Before that time, igus® products were already sold by various importers. The plastic bearing technology product group has been sold in the Netherlands for years by Elcee Holland from Dordrecht. igus® BV is your advisor and supplier for energy chains, energy chain systems, chainflex® cables and completely assembled systems under the name readychain®. After its establishment, the branch has grown steadily every year. The igus® team in the Netherlands now consists of 14 employees. Our technical advisors are available throughout the Netherlands. The igus® slogan “plastics for longer life®” stands for durable machine parts, made of special maintenance-free plastics, which, in addition to being friction-resistant, are also extremely wear-resistant. Our mission is: Deliver technically better products at a lower price.
