Every day we help companies around the world to work more efficiently and sustainably. We have been manufacturing positive displacement pumps since 1956 and providing engineering support to a wide range of industries. We started in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where inventor Bernard Refson developed the first technically and commercially viable peristaltic pump for use outside the laboratory.

In 1969 we moved to our base in Falmouth, Cornwall. Since then, we have expanded geographically and serve more than 60 markets worldwide. We are made up of 10 leading brands, each a specialist in niche fluid management technologies. In 1990 we became part of Spirax Sarco Engineering plc, a FTSE100 company. As part of SSE, our shared goal is to create sustainable value for all our stakeholders as we develop a more efficient, safer and more sustainable world.
