Location: Einstein Seminar Room

Energy management is an essential technology for sustainable electricity networks and the associated sector coupling. It enables the safe integration of decentralized power plants such as PV systems, CHP units or wind farms into the electricity grid. Decentralized power plants and battery storage systems make an important contribution to the stability of the grid. Wind and solar energy are weather dependent. That is why energy buffers are necessary for a continuous energy supply that is independent of natural fluctuations. They optimize energy management by storing excess energy at times of low demand and releasing it at peak times. How is this interpreted?

Speakers: Dominik Stammeier & Fabian Laarman

This lecture will be given mainly in English. A small part will be held in Dutch.
