For short transmission distances, ODU additionally offers POF (Polymer Optical Fiber) system solutions for cost-efficient optical connections.

The Expanded Beam Performance technology is an advanced fiber optic solution. It offers high-end transmission characteristics over many mating cycles. The excellent optical performance remains unchanged even under mechanical stress, environmental influences and harsh ambient conditions.

ODU Fiber Optic solutions are ideal for medical technology, industrial outdoor applications and mass-interconnect solutions. These technologies are available in circular and modular connectors as well as customized solutions. They are designed for the respective applications as fully assembled fiber optic system solutions. To ensure a 100% error-free connection, the entire system solution should be considered in the area of fiber optic. This is because a fiber optic connector can only meet the customer’s requirements in combination with a suitable cable.
