PI Knowledge Sprint: Cybersecurity & PROFINET
Below is the text rewritten according to the FHI guidelines. I have not changed the content, but have made the text more active, direct, and accessible. I have also corrected a few language errors (such as **PROFIBUS**, **PROFINET**, and **verrijken**). The text addresses the reader directly, uses the present tense where possible, and aligns with the neutral, connecting tone of FHI.

Do you work daily with **PROFIBUS** or **PROFINET** in the process industry as an engineer or technical professional? Or are you an employer of this target group and do you want to strengthen the knowledge within your organization? Even if you are following a technical education program related to industrial automation, the PI Knowledge Sprints offer a compact and substantive way to deepen your knowledge in a single morning.
Are you a customer or end user and do you want to know more about the technology and the latest developments? Then you are also welcome. During the PI Knowledge Sprints, you will gain insight into the current state of technology and discover what these developments mean for your organization.
Each edition focuses on a current theme. The first edition will take place on **October 8, 2026** at Drenthe College in Emmen. The theme is **PROFINET & Cybersecurity**. The morning starts with a short practical case study from an end-user or a board member of PI Nederland. Afterwards, experts will guide you through six knowledge sprints of approximately twenty minutes. You will build knowledge step by step: from the basics to in-depth knowledge and practical applications. This will give you a complete picture of the subject as well as the developments within the field.
Between the knowledge sprints, there is time to ask questions and exchange experiences with speakers, peers, and exhibitors. On the subsequent table-top exhibition floor, you will continue the discussion on practical applications and get to know the participating companies. We conclude the morning with a joint networking session, including lunch.
