Tuesday, September 23, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM (Faraday seminar room)

There is a lot going on around quantum technology hypeYou often read complicated and contradictory stories. But what does it actually mean in plain language, and more importantly, what can you do with it?

In this seminar, which is organized by Quantum Delta NL, Richard van Hardewijk gives a brief introduction to quantum and the Dutch ecosystem. What are the expectations for the future and which techniques and products are already available to improve devices?

After the introduction we will delve deeper into three themes:

  • Quantum sensors
  • Post-quantum cryptography
  • Quantum Manufacturing Alliance

Register

1:30 PM – 1:55 PM | Quantum sensors

These are already ready for production and could be interesting for your new products. Forget the word "quantum": these are sensors that are much more accurate.

2:00 PM – 2:25 PM | Post-quantum cryptography

Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is a tool to counter the upcoming threat of quantum computers. Dimitri van Esch of the Quantum Gateway Foundation will provide practical tools to help your company optimally prepare for this new technology during his presentation.

  • How do you protect existing IT infrastructure and networks against this new threat?
  • What resources and advice are available?
  • What is the status of the various standards, regulations and libraries?

Speaker: Dimitri van Esch (Quantum Gateway Foundation)

2:30 PM – 2:55 PM | Quantum Manufacturing Alliance

All those quantum devices need to be produced. What does the supply chain look like? Perhaps there are interesting opportunities for you there.
