Hoe maak je de stap van een bestaande destillatie-installatie naar een toekomstbestendige, volledig digitale omgeving — én realiseer je direct meetbare winst in engineering en inbedrijfstelling?
Tijdens deze lezing nemen we je mee in de praktijk van een succesvol migratietraject. Een destillatie-installatie werd gemoderniseerd van Siemens Teleperm M naar Siemens PCS 7, waarbij alle conventionele analoge meetsensoren en klepstandstellers zijn vervangen door digitale instrumentatie met PROFINET over Ethernet-APL.
Dankzij de inzet van PROFINET over Ethernet-APL, in combinatie met slimme softwaretools en -oplossingen, heeft Cargill een aanzienlijke tijdsbesparing gerealiseerd, zowel in de engineeringfase als tijdens de inbedrijfstelling.
