Operators of data centres with a total capacity of at least 500kW must disclose their energy performance annually to comply with the EU EED. This new legislation is an important instrument to demonstrably be climate neutral in 2030.
In this lecture, Jan van de Maat, specialist of ABB, will discuss the opportunities this offers to data center operators in an operational environment. The following themes will be addressed: energy monitoring, PUE reporting, but also predictive maintenance and circularity will be discussed.
