On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, you'll start your day with other life sciences professionals at the first edition of FHI Life Science Live, held in the Plus Ultra building on the Utrecht Science Park Campus. This new morning event is specifically designed for anyone working in life science research and laboratory applications.

Life Science 2025 Review
On February 13, 2025, the Life Science event took place at FHI. This small-scale event is specifically aimed at laboratory technicians. The atrium has been converted into an exhibition floor and the conference rooms transform into practical workshop spaces after the break. The first half of the day is dedicated to three lectures. Leading names from the industry and scientific world dive straight into the depths, with minimal introduction. Some prior knowledge is required here.

In December 2022, the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) performed a unique treatment. For the first time, a patient was treated with salivary gland organoid cells, grown from his own stem cells.
