Working together on an agenda for the SME manufacturing industry

The SME manufacturing industry is of great value to the Dutch economy. Nevertheless, many companies in the sector face significant challenges. These include regulations, personnel availability, investments, and appropriate government policy.

Therefore, FHI and other trade associations are working on a joint agenda for the SME manufacturing industry. With this agenda, we aim to clearly identify the key challenges and opportunities for the sector and bring them to the attention of politicians and the government.

The ambition is to join forces across various sectors to strengthen the position of the SME manufacturing industry in economic policy. In doing so, we look not only at current bottlenecks but also at what is needed to keep the sector future-proof and competitive.

FHI is participating in this initiative together with, among others Royal Metal Union, NRK, ION, VACO and Kartoflex. In the coming period, the trade associations will further develop the joint agenda.
