In January we celebrate 12.5 years of Baulds! It all started as a business plan by two men from Barneveld. Baulds has now grown into a renowned company with numerous successfully completed projects.
We take you through what we do...
A good example of this is our project with Wédéflex (Valley Business | Number 1 | March 2022). “Based on intensive discussions, we developed a monitoring system that provides real-time insight and even predicts malfunctions on roofs. Roof management from behind your desk. That's fantastic!” Verbeek smiles. Such a solution does not arise in a few days. We are really talking about a collaboration that has lasted for years. Our Co-development working method is indispensable in this regard. You can only innovate together. The Baulds team translates technical challenges into practical solutions for the customer every day. “We want and can make our customer's product smarter. Close cooperation is essential here. Our customers have mastery of the knowledge of their product and the market in which they operate. When you combine this with the technology knowledge of the team, innovative solutions will automatically emerge,” says Denise Pol (Office manager).
Baulds delivers tailor-made solutions
All Baulds solutions are custom made using Baulds standard hardware. Teus Verbeek (Software Engineer) explains further: “The team devises and develops the hardware and software per project. But we are committed to a high degree of modularity and reuse (Valley Business | Number 4 | September 2022). We then proceed to the production of prototypes and the test phase is set up. If the test results are good and our customer is satisfied, we will proceed with delivery and production.”

We want to add value
Baulds likes to think along with companies that are looking for technical options that can improve a product or process. “The first agreements determine for both parties whether we can add value.”
“Also look at Hoeflon. Hoeflon designs, builds and supplies mini cranes, also known as compact cranes, spider cranes or simply mini cranes. This company has grown enormously over the years in terms of team, but also in production numbers. From an initial prototype, Baulds developed a complete control system with associated hardware, such as IO cards, Remote Control and our first version Gateway for machine control and communication with the cloud. From this machine, which is still being updated, we have continued to develop to an electric variant with our sister company Ox Power originated. Baulds was also closely involved in the development of the Ox Power Battery Packs.”
“Finally, we have developed a new platform on which Hoeflon can continue to build for years to come. This modular platform is suitable for multiple applications and is therefore also used by various customers and for Hoeflon's entire product portfolio.”
Bauld's remote controlAs mentioned above, Baulds started with small custom-made products for different applications. The company soon gravitated towards standard solutions in machine control Gateway was developed for running control software and sharing the data with the cloud. This concept remains the backbone of the organization to this day. As more customers with different applications come to us, our standardized products have become modular and configurable. This allows us to help new customers faster and cheaper, but our products remain tailor-made. Baulds works closely with production and assembly companies, web and app developers, design agencies and IoT connectivity platforms.”
“Any company can contact us with technical issues. We are always open to a no-obligation conversation and are happy to take on a challenge. Baulds' mission remains “Your Product Smarter”. We continue to make our customers' systems and products smarter. Being distinctive in the market is what we aim for.”
