On the advice of a fellow student, I came into contact with Mach technology for my first internship. I liked it so much that I also did my graduation internship there. I am now a permanent employee and part of one of the development teams in Amsterdam.

There is a lot of knowledge of hardware and embedded software. A number of engineers have been working in the field for decades. That is why there is a lot to learn at Mach technology. Interns are allowed to investigate the operation of the latest technological innovations. This makes an internship at Mach technology very interesting. I was asked if I wanted to develop an electronic nose to distinguish odors as a graduation project. I found this to be a very interesting technology that you don't see very often. Here I could develop both hardware and software and that was what I was looking for for my graduation internship.
