Gadget World of Technology & Science; ready for production

The gadget for the WoTS trade fair is the 'WoTS parrot'. The WoTS parrot is a voice recording device in the shape of a parrot with a built-in microphone that records a line of text lasting a few seconds. The built-in microcontroller distorts this using a number of fun special effects and plays the recorded text through the built-in speaker. More than 20 exhibitors have been working intensively together for some time to make this project a great success once again. After two wanderings (the WoTS 2020 and E&A 2021 trade fairs), the 'parrot' is determined to spread its wings during WoTS 2022.

On the exhibition floor, visitors collect the WoTS Parrot by following various steps. The special effects can be unlocked 'live' during the fair. These steps are performed at the gadget's sponsors. All sponsors contribute to the manufacturing of the final product; from design, supply of components/materials, and production to conducting various tests. Financial sponsorship is also possible.

The functionalities combined with the trendy and colorful design make it the ideal gadget for young and old. A major advantage of the gadget is that it can be used by visitors both during and after the trade fair.

A1 Electronics will start populating the printed circuit boards in January. 1,500 units of the interactive parrot will be produced.
