The NAI 8273 IO Link pressure sensor is designed as a smart sensor and provides relevant diagnostic functions and stored information in addition to the process data required for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The process data consists of the pressure value and the temperature of the medium, which is measured directly on the particularly stable “thin film on steel” pressure sensor cell with 3-fold overpressure protection (optional even 5-fold).
Thanks to the built-in strong microcontroller, the sensor can communicate with maximum available IO-link transmission speed of 230.4 kBaud COM3. This results in a minimum cycle time of 1 ms and thus the system receives the current process values in a very short interval for the best response times.
The small and intelligent pressure sensor, combined with available measuring ranges from -0.2 … 0.2 to 700 bar, with an accuracy of ±0.5 % FS or ±0.3 % FS, make the NAI 8273 an ideal choice for many industrial 4.0 applications.
For the use of conventional switching outputs, the NPN, PNP and Push-Pull polarities can be configured.
