JC-Electronics will be the only Dutch industrial supplier at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in Brussels on 15 and 16 April. Journalists, companies, institutions and governments will share their knowledge and experience about circular working there. The company from Leek was invited because they demonstrably help companies in the industry to save raw materials and reduce their ecological footprint.

JC-Electronics is one of the world's leading manufacturers of refurbished industrial electronics

“Electronics that worked can work again” is the motto of JC-Electronics. It is the reason why the company mainly repairs, revises and sells used products. Now for customers in more than 100 countries.

COO Wolter de Jong sees the invitation to the WCEF as a great recognition and an opportunity to share knowledge: "Experts from all continents come together in Brussels. We are proud to be considered among the top of the circular world. The award of the RecQ quality mark for our quality and circular working method has certainly contributed to this."

Recognition of reliable working methods

The RecQ quality mark guarantees the quality and circularity of refurbished electronics. The DEKRA inspectors assessed the entire chain of purchasing, revision, sales and aftersales. This quality mark shows that JC-Electronics reliably purchases electronics, revises them to a high standard and repairs them according to circular standards. JC-Electronics is one of the first two industrial companies in the world to be allowed to carry this quality mark.

“Based on our philosophy, we have set up a powerful repair and revision process over the past 17 years,” says Caspar Botter, CCO at JC-Electronics. In this process, the electronics are first professionally cleaned to remove all dirt. Defects and malfunctions are then remedied and components that are susceptible to wear are replaced. Before a refurbished product is sold, it undergoes a thorough testing procedure.

Technical staff trained in our own company school

Technicians who want to learn the trade can obtain an MBO4 diploma in addition to their job at the company's own school. For the company, this is the way to share knowledge internally and recruit well-trained technicians. "More than 40 employees graduated in recent years. The majority had no background in technology. They now work as independent technicians in our Technical Department. Colleagues who want to develop themselves further can obtain their HBO diploma internally."
