JC-Electronics receives ISO sustainability certificate

September 20, 2024 | 2 minutes reading time

The inspectors of the expert institute DEKRA have awarded the ISO 14001:2015 certificate to JC-Electronics. This certificate proves that we are serious about sustainability objectives. ISO 14001 is the internationally accepted standard with requirements for an environmental management system. Based on this, companies can design a suitable environmental policy and ensure its implementation.

The ISO 14001:2015 certificate is a milestone!

Our technicians repair and revise used industrial electronics so that they can last for years to come. In this way, JC-Electronics makes a good contribution to the circular economy. That makes our customers happy.

Chief Commercial Officer Caspar Botter: “With this approach, we are sustainable by definition. This ISO certificate underlines that. It also encourages us to further tighten policy and objectives in the area of waste separation and transport.”

Independent recognition of sustainable policy

Our customers find it important that we as JC-Electronics also contribute to a better environment. The ISO 14001 is independent proof that JC-Electronics has a well-thought-out sustainability plan. “When it comes to your green policy, companies and government institutions do not take your word for it. Rightly so, because refurbished electronics contribute to reducing their ecological footprint. And to other sustainability objectives that are important to them,” says Caspar Botter.

In 2023, DEKRA awarded the RecQ quality mark to JC-Electronics. This is the most important international recognition of the reliability and circularity of refurbished electronics.
