Our customer LUMINAID speaks
No project is the same for LUMINAID, located in Oud Gastel in Brabant and a specialist in line lighting systems. It is therefore very convenient to have everything in-house. LUMINAID calculates, engineers and produces. And then also provides the delivery, assembly and integration of the light lines for customers, with which both the electronics and mechanics are clicked together directly.
Light to where it needs to be
With such a total concept, space is created for more efficiency. For savings, and sustainability as well. This was also the case with the customer in the retail sector, who called in LUMINAID for the lighting in the warehouse that was yet to be built. That was challenging, with racks on multiple floors and on each of those floors plenty of paths that cross each other. In so many short, narrow and low corridors: how do you optimally arrange the lighting there? So that, when someone is there, the light only comes on in that one small corridor – and nowhere else?
Accurate to within half a meter
The solution was measured motion detection on both sides of a corridor. Tightly adjusted, accurate to within half a meter each time. LUMINAID was already considering developing the required application itself, until it came across Panasonic sensors. Reliable functionality certainly played a role in this, although it soon became apparent that customization was needed along the way.
