NBS Scientific presents the automated Micronic Tube Handler HT700 which meets the need for efficient, fast and safe sorting of sample storage tubes. The unique design gives the device a small footprint and a large capacity. There is a minimum distance between the sample that needs to be grabbed and the 'target' rack, which allows for faster sorting. The closed system guarantees the safety of the user.

A 'pick list' generated from a LIMS system can easily be loaded with a USB stick. The desired tubes are automatically selected and placed in a 'target' rack for the user. There is room for a maximum of 24 'source' racks and 1-3 'target' racks. The handler has a throughput of approximately 800 tubes/hr, including reading the unique 2D code on the bottom of the tube. In combination with the use of Micronic tubes, the device is an excellent and reliable choice.

Features:

  • Reading 2D codes
  • Reading 1D codes (source and target rack)
  • Easy to navigate and intuitive interface
  • Automatic link between rack ID and rack position
  • Picklist (CSV file) can be loaded with a USB stick
  • Additional grouping field in pick list for sample clustering in target rack
  • Output CSV—file containing rack contents
  • Sealed system for user safety
  • The separate safety stop ensures sample/product protection
