EAO is a leading manufacturer of ergonomic and application-oriented components and systems in the automotive industry. The Series 09 rugged keypads from EAO have been expanded with a new version with 8 push buttons, IP6K9K protection and interchangeable symbols.
The new 8-pushbutton version, like the 6-pushbutton version, has programmable 4-segment RGB halo ring lighting for status indication and – depending on the application – intelligent visual feedback from the keypad. High flexibility thanks to interchangeable ISO 7000 or customer-specific symbols and colored symbols.
The high degree of protection up to IP6K9K offers the highest level of robustness and makes these keyboards ideal for outdoor use on various construction or special vehicles – even in extreme, harsh conditions.

Like the existing Series 09 rugged keypads, the 8 push button version is also available in three variants: Super, Plus and Basic. The keypads are designed and produced according to the well-known automotive standard IATF 16949. It is a modular design for quick mounting via clip-in or screw connection.
