The Industry 4.0 developments offer opportunities to connect more technology, which makes it easier to unlock data. This digitalization offers advantages in both achieving business objectives and responding to social challenges. To this end, the experts involved must look a few steps further to make monitoring of a variety of equipment concretely possible.

In the presentation of UReason the open digital ecosystem for Asset Performance Management Applications is shown. This system is being set up for the Sustainability Factory in Dordrecht using the SMITZH program and publications from the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance for the unambiguous access to non-PA data from the instruments and actuators in the factory. The asset diagnostic data is accessed from, among other things, frequency controllers, pumps, flow meters, pressure/temperature meters and control valves from different suppliers (and ages). The results and lessons of this collaboration are presented by UReason.

Fedor Meyer and Clement Jense van PROCENTEC specifically discuss the collaboration between PI Competence Centers and Hoek Group. They show that the human side is important in a practical world where components are increasingly prohibited with each other. The expertise of industry users and experts from Competence Centers can then come together. Measurements and data start the process and solutions for the installation are created.
