Today January 30, 2025, want Schleifenbauer Products BV share an important change within the company. After a period of intensive collaboration and reform under the leadership of our CEO Jan de Haan, a new phase is dawning. We would like to thank Jan de Haan as CEO and Alain Schuermans – co-founder, current board member and shareholder – extensively for their enormous commitment and dedication in recent years.
Jan de Haan has played a crucial role in the transformation and modernization of Schleifenbauer. Under his leadership, the company has taken important steps in professionalizing internal processes, strengthening our market position and expanding our product portfolio. His vision and leadership have had a lasting impact on the company and are laying the foundation for a successful future. Jan looks back on a successful period: “It has been an honor to lead Schleifenbauer through this transition and to help build a solid foundation. I am confident that the new management will continue on the path we have set and have every confidence in a bright future for the company.”
Alain Schuermans, co-founder of Schleifenbauer, is one of the driving forces behind our success. He laid the technical foundation of our company by leading the development of our high-performance PDUs. With his indispensable expertise and dedication, he not only shaped our current product line, but also developed the new PDU 5.0, which will be launched in Q2 2025. Alain reflects on his journey: “Schleifenbauer has grown into a renowned player in the world of smart power distribution. It is an incredible experience to contribute to this. Although I am stepping down as a director, I will of course remain closely involved and look forward to the next innovations that we will realize as a company.”
Although Jan and Alain are stepping back from the daily management, they will remain involved in the company in the background. Their experience and insights will continue to be of great value to Schleifenbauer.
As of February 1, 2025, daily management will be transferred to a new board of directors, consisting of:
- Jos Janssen as Sales Director. Jos, currently Head of Sales & Marketing, has always had a strong focus on our customers and brings that experience to his new role. “I look forward to working with the team to serve Schleifenbauer's customers even better and to further exploit growth opportunities.” according to Jos.
- Edward Goudsmits as Operations Director. Edward, now Head of Operations and Supply Chain, has made a significant contribution to professionalizing the production process and has had a strong focus on creating a reliable and flexible supply chain. Edward shares: “Schleifenbauer is a great company and I am very excited to take the next step with the team. We will continue to innovate and optimize our processes to ensure the high quality and reliability that our customers expect from us.”
We are looking forward to this new phase for Schleifenbauer with confidence. With Jos and Edward at the helm, we believe that our company will continue to grow and our customers will be served even better.
