With the introduction of its new 'PAQ' product line, Tele Radio is taking another step towards a future made possible by technology. The new range of solutions improves the flexibility, security, and user experience of remote controls like never before.
The first products in the series, the SupraPAQ 12, SupraPAQ D10, OmniPAQ 8, DuroPAQ D6, and DuroPAQ 8, are already available or will be available soon. A new receiver, the R30, is also being added to the range. With the PAQ line, Tele Radio meets the ever-changing needs of the industrial workplace.
Connectivity at the heart
Working smoothly with a remote control starts with good support and the ability to view the status of a device. That is why Tele Radio developed a special smartphone app that will completely change the way users interact with remote controls.
With the FieldManager app, users can easily view device data, such as online manuals and settings. The app can also be used to manage device settings and installed plugins. Future updates will further simplify operation, enabling wireless firmware updates, full data synchronization, and support from Tele Radio technicians.
Safety first
Safety remains of paramount importance in industrial remote control systems, and Tele Radio's new platform is fully equipped to comply with the upcoming European safety regulations. While critical emergency stop functionality is retained, the system creates additional safety features that provide multiple layers of protection for both users and equipment.
Each of the remote control's functions—radio communication, plugins, security—uses a separate processor. This creates a natural barrier between the different components and prevents mutual interference. In this way, customer-specific software can never touch the vital parts of a remote control. Thanks to RFID tags, only certified users can operate the most dangerous parts of a machine.
In addition to these new safety measures, the stop function of the PAQ line is PLe, CAT4, and SIL3 certified, offering optimal occupational safety in hazardous environments.
Flexible in every respect
PAQ offers the ability to program customer-specific plugins. Because the platform is built in the accessible programming language 'C', customizing a remote control becomes a breeze for customers.
The transmitters to be introduced later this year operate on 433 MHz and 915 MHz, in addition to the globally accepted frequency of 2.4 GHz. These transmitters will be supplied with a rechargeable 2000 mAh battery with a temperature sensor and feature a 48V charging function for faster charging and longer battery life.
The PAQ line can be combined with a large part of Tele Radio's existing portfolio. This makes inventory management, scaling up, and replacement simpler and more cost-efficient.
Your expectations exceeded
The PAQ line is Tele Radio's most recent step towards a future made possible by technology. Thanks to its innovativeness, Tele Radio can offer the highest level of security to users and long-term partnerships to its customers.
