Leadertech produces thermal interface material in sheets, also based on graphite.
Graphite is used for its extremely good thermal conductivity, but only on surfaces that do not need to be electrically insulated.
The vertical conductivity is decent at 5W/mK while the horizontal thermal conductivity is extremely high at 400W/mK. That is why thermally conductive graphite can be used as a heat spreader.
Mainly used on chips and COB power LEDs.
Leadertech offers the thermally conductive graphite with one-sided or two-sided adhesive layer to ensure correct and simple installation.
The material is available in thicknesses of 0.1; 0.3; 0.5 and 1.0mm and has an operating temperature of -40 +400°C.
To ensure a suitable product, EEMC punches the graphite base material in-house into customer-specific shapes.
