Want to check the quality and composition of plastics while doing other work? It's possible with the identiPol QA2!
The system is designed to provide a rapid assessment of incoming material and its suitability for use on the production line. Anyone can work with the QA2 as the device does all the work for you.
There are three ways in which the QA2 system can be used:
- Identification
Identifies the type of plastic material the sample is made of from a library of common thermoplastics.
This mode allows you to easily identify a material as LDPE, HDPE PP, PA6 PA66 etc. - Confirmation
Confirms that the sample sufficiently matches the material from previous testing so that it can be used for production, and ensures the continued quality of the processed product. - Comparison
Compares two types of material for equivalence and reports on their similarity. The comparison mode can be used to compare a homopolymer against a copolymer as well as comparing different manufacturers or suppliers.
Seeing is believing for many. The QA2 has an (optional) camera function that allows the operator to observe the sample during testing.
