MKB-Nederland is once again working on a powerful Entrepreneurial Agenda to promote the growth and development of small and medium-sized businesses. The agenda emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship and finding constructive solutions. Rob Valent, chairman of the FHI Industrial Automation sector, participated in the Industry Round Table on behalf of FHI.

Central to the Entrepreneurs Agenda is the aim to demonstrate to both official and political authorities in The Hague that:

  • Entrepreneurs provide concrete solutions to social issues that are high on the political agenda.
  • The necessary partnership between entrepreneurs and the government is essential to realize these solutions and allow initiatives to grow.
  • Entrepreneurs and industry representatives from various sectors came together to discuss market developments, personnel issues, business operations, investments and innovation. These meetings provide valuable insights into the challenges entrepreneurs face and possible solutions.

In the run-up to the final adoption of the agenda in April, Rob Valent, chairman of the FHI Industrial Automation sector, participated in the Industry Round Table on behalf of FHI.

The ambition of MKB Nederland is to officially adopt the agenda in April. During this determination period, the course of action is also updated, taking into account broader prosperity goals and current developments. The rapidly changing geopolitical situation, technological progress and the need for economic resilience require new emphasis within the pillars of the Entrepreneurial Agenda.
