The Mascot 4040 LI is a microcontroller controlled charger of up to 120W charger intended for Li-Ion batteries. This desktop charger has a 3-step charge profile to maximize battery performance. The new charger is also able to wake up deeply discharged batteries and soft-start charging with low current until the voltage has normalized.
The new charger is medically certified according to EN 60601-1 ed. 3.2 and for home care EN 60601-1-11. For worldwide use it is also UL approved.
Initially 12 standard versions are available for charging batteries from 3 cells in series (9.0A/12.6V) to 14 cells (2.0A/58.8V). Customized versions are available on request.
The 4040LI is ideally suited for a wide range of applications. Users can benefit from optimized uptime for battery powered devices such as medical equipment, telecom equipment, IOT loggers, handheld music systems, portable lighting, etc.
