35 years of Sensor Partners: from start-up to specialist in sensors and thermography

As of October 1, 2026, Sensor Partners will celebrate its 35th anniversary. What started in an attic room in Drunen with a post box, a telephone, and a fax machine has grown into a company that helps clients worldwide with technical issues in the field of sensors and thermography. The locations and technologies have changed, but the direct contact with the customer has remained.

5 locations in Drunen

In 1991, founder Hans Giezenberg started Sensor Partners from an attic room on Doormanstraat. The fax sometimes brought in messages from America in the middle of the night. These were the first steps of a company that would continue to develop around measurement and detection.

With the growth came new addresses, new markets, and new companies: Grotestraat, its own premises on Albert Einsteinweg, and later locations along the A59. Sensor Partners BVBA, a branch in Belgium, was founded in 2006, followed by Sensor BV, a specialist in Thermography, and Vision Partners BV, a specialist in Machine Vision. Since 2013, Sensor Partners has been operating from its current premises at James Wattlaan 15 in Drunen.

New chapters, the same commitment

In 2019, the Sensor Group, of which Sensor Partners was a part, was, part of the Swedish Indutrade. In doing so, the companies retained their own identity and the space to continue working close to their customers. A next chapter followed in 2022, when Sensor Partners and Sensor BV joined forces. With that, knowledge of sensor technology and thermography came together (again) under one name.

Throughout all these changes, one way of working has remained recognizable: Sensor Partners wants to understand what is happening at the customer's site. That is why colleagues stand alongside the machine, walk alongside staff in the factory while providing advice, speak with customers at trade fairs, and share their knowledge in the training room. In this way, a suitable solution often begins with a conversation about practical realities. How can the products be used to make production more reliable, faster, more sustainable, and safer?

This anniversary is also a moment to reflect on the people behind Sensor Partners! Thank you to our customers and suppliers for their trust and collaboration. And a word of thanks to every colleague, past and present, who has contributed to what Sensor Partners is today! Here's to the next 35 years!
