The contours of the brand new Energy in Industry event, which will take place on Tuesday, June 20, have been drawn. The exhibitors will discuss important and current themes in the industry and the energy transition underway. The topics of monitoring, energy management and grid congestion are the common thread running through the provisional lecture program.

Endress+Hauser discusses the SDE++ regulations and the possibilities for the industry within these frameworks. With the SD++ subsidies, a company can significantly reduce its CO2 emissions, but this must be measured properly. The importance of good monitoring is also discussed in Flexim's lecture. Using ultrasonic flow technology, energy flows can be mapped without major adjustments being required in the processes or the pipeline network.

At the event, JUMO will focus on 'power-to-heat' and the electrification of heating processes commonly used in industry. By applying smart control technology, energy savings can be achieved and therefore costs can be reduced. Schneider Electric will in turn provide a number of practical examples where significant savings have been achieved.

VIRO wants to provide visitors to the event with a bird's eye view of the possibilities available from a technical and process technology perspective. Because taking energy-saving solutions is not only necessary because of the high prices, companies also have to take steps (European) regulations and social pressure.

Exhibitor Croonwolter&dros addresses the question: what does the digitalization of the energy system bring us? Because there are numerous challenges surrounding the energy transition. Consider the growing staff shortage and the increasing pressure on the existing energy system. With the help of energy management systems, industries can make plans and achieve goals.

In addition to electrification, green hydrogen must also make an important contribution to making the industry even more sustainable. During Energy in Industry, Yokogawa will give a lecture about a large-scale project to sustainably produce hydrogen in the Holland Hydrogen project.
