Boom at LabSafety Vianen: together for a safer lab

Today we were present at LabSafety in Vianen – an inspiring day full of knowledge and innovations in the field of laboratory safety, organized by the FHI Laboratory Technology. Our colleagues Lisette, Roelof and Jasper spoke with visitors about practical solutions for a safer lab.

Lisette kicked off the day with a short pitch: “Does every brand of type B gloves offer the same level of protection?” The surprising answer: no. She showed the difference in material, test standards and chemical resistance – and how important it is to make a conscious choice. At our stand, visitors could gloves from SHIELD Scientific try it out, with the handy traffic light colour system and the extensive chemical resistance guide – a great online tool for anyone who wants to be sure of the right protection.

We also showed smart solutions from SCAT Europe GmbH for safe HPLC waste processing and comfortable safety glasses from LLG LabwareWe look back on a successful day full of great conversations.
