CELLdisc is a multi-layer system that covers cell culture surfaces from 1,000 cm² to 10,000 cm².
The innovative ergonomic design of the CELLdisc provides a versatile system for the propagation of adherent cells, from research to industrial batches. In addition, a centrally located channel ensures an even distribution of the gas throughout the device. The bottom edge ensures that the CELLdisc does not come into contact with the surface of the incubator. The compact and robust cylindrical system is ideally suited for automation and scale-up of cell culture.
Closed growing systems
Working in a GMP environment requires maximum safety and sterility. And therefore a closed system for liquid transfer where opening during cell culture is not necessary and the risk of contamination is therefore drastically reduced. Greiner Bio-One has developed new CELLdisc versions with closed filler caps for these applications. There are two versions available; with a single hose (-CF1) or with a double hose (-CF2).
