To control, assist and communicate the daily business as well as possible is the credo of Eurocircuits. The group of companies manufactures printed circuit boards for respirators in Belgium and the Netherlands, and supplies hardware developers with prototypes of printed circuit boards and assembled assemblies without any limitations.

“No mountain is too high for us to deal with the current crisis,” explains Managing Partner Dirk Stans. “Protecting the health and safety of all employees is our top priority, and yet our clients can rely on us 100 percent,” Stans continues.

“We are open and ready to help,” Eurocircuits told its customers. The response was great and a nice emotional gesture to the entire team, who have been working to the limit since the end of January. When large parts of China were closed down due to the coronavirus at the end of January, Eurocircuits’ order intake skyrocketed. In February, incoming orders reached up to 150 percent of daily production capacity. More than 34,000 orders for printed circuit boards were received, 20 percent more orders than in the same quarter of 2019. We see the corona crisis as an opportunity to show how efficient and flexible the European electronics industry is and how important domestic suppliers are for our society,” Dirk Stans, Managing Partner at Eurocircuits

The order situation has been back to normal since mid-March, but the special situation continues to challenge the team. “We take a lot of time, in addition to the daily business, to communicate with our customers and show that we are there for them,” Stans emphasizes. Eurocircuits’ tools for design verification, price calculation and ordering are available 24/7.

Standard delivery times have not changed: bare printed circuit boards within 3 working days for prototypes and 5 working days for all other printed circuit boards. Developers receive PCBs fully populated with components for prototypes up to 4 layers and 5 pieces within 6 working days and within 10 working days for all other services. Delivery delays may occur, as courier services cannot deliver everywhere without problems. Eurocuircuits provides a daily update on the website.

“We see the corona crisis as an opportunity to show how efficient and flexible the European electronics industry is and how important domestic suppliers are for our society,” the Managing Partner explains. Many developers working from home are cut off from normal daily interactions and the ease with which they usually find solutions and services for product development.

“We see the corona crisis as an opportunity to show how efficient and flexible the European electronics industry is and how important domestic suppliers are for our society,” says Dirk Stans, Managing Partner at Eurocircuits.
