For a long time, machine data was only analyzed and used in the production hall from which it originated. As a result, the risk of unwanted access to the data was relatively low. However, by using classic defense-in-depth measures, machine data can be well protected.
WAGO's PFC100 and PFC200 controllers encrypt data directly in the controller and then transfer it to the cloud via IPsec or OpenVPN connections. The machine data is therefore optimally protected against unwanted access.
