Entrepreneur Day on Friday, November 16, 2018

On Friday, November 16, MKB-Nederland organizes the Day of the Entrepreneur. More than 1.5 million entrepreneurs run their businesses in the Netherlands and offer enormous added value to our country. After all, entrepreneurs create growth, jobs and prosperity.

MKB-Nederland believes that entrepreneurs deserve respect for their efforts and that there should be a moment when attention is paid to the importance of entrepreneurs for the Netherlands. A day on which entrepreneurs are thanked for their courage and perseverance. The start of a tradition to celebrate entrepreneurship, thank entrepreneurs and put them in the spotlight.

The Entrepreneur's Day is for all entrepreneurs. MKB-Nederland asks its network of trade organizations, local associations, municipalities, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, ministers, knowledge partners and many others to put entrepreneurs in the spotlight on Friday, November 16.

That is why MKB-Nederland has declared every third Friday in November 'Entrepreneur's Day'. This year, Entrepreneur Day falls on Friday, November 16.

Entrepreneur Day takes place in Global Entrepreneurship Week, a global initiative to promote entrepreneurship. In more than 150 countries, entrepreneurship takes center stage in the third week of November. On this Friday, MKB-Nederland is joining forces with its Belgian sister organization Unizo, the initiator of the Flemish 'Day of the Entrepreneur'.
