Improve safety and operability
Tablets are increasingly being used as operating terminals at production sites. The ISO/IEC safety standards must be taken into account. Tablets or other operating devices must therefore be equipped with safety devices when used near sources of danger on machines. Examples of these are an enabling switch and an emergency stop switch for immediate switching off of the machine. With the help of the Safety Commander™ a tablet can easily be equipped with the required security features.
The HT3P Safety Commander
With Safety Commander™, tablets now come with safety. The ergonomic design improves operability. In addition, lower equipment costs and higher work efficiency can be achieved.
The features of the HT3P Safety Commander:
- Suitable for vertical and horizontal use due to the rotating holder;
- Emergency stop switch with LED indicator;
- Ergonomically designed release switch with three positions: OFF -> ON -> OFF;
- Key locking function;
- Free positioning of the emergency stop switch for ease of use;
- Ergonomic design so that the tablet fits comfortably in the hand;
- Suitable for tablets with screens from 8 to 11 inches up to a thickness of 10mm;
- Optional: Accessories for mounting on robust tablets with a thickness of 10 (Tablet Thickness Adjustment Kit A) to 24 mm (Tablet Thickness Adjustment Kit B);
- Robust construction with a drop resistance of 1.2 meters;
- IP54 sealed: usable in dusty environments or when exposed to splashes or spray;
