The SCHURTER DG11 power supply module, optimized and proven over many years, is now available in a version with an additional magnetic release for protection against very high overcurrents (short-circuits) at the integrated TA35 circuit breaker.

Circuit breakers are usually designed on the thermal principle with a bimetallic strip. If a certain temperature is exceeded due to overcurrent, the circuit is interrupted. Once the bimetallic strip has cooled, the device is ready for use again. However, this process is very slow. Therefore, thermal circuit breakers are usually combined with a fuse.

New with extra magnetic module
SCHURTER is expanding its TA35 2-pole miniature circuit breakers with an additional, optional magnetic module. From now on, no additional fuse is required for the thermal-magnetic versions. Depending on the application, the magnetic modules are available with both slow-blow and fast-blow characteristics.

V-Lock cable attachment
The new versions of the DG11 connectors are equipped with the proven V-Lock cable fastening as standard.

Splash and dust proof: IP67
The DG11 power module and the power cable are equipped with special sealing elements (gaskets) to achieve the very high protection degree IP67.

Areas of application
Wherever dirt, dust particles, or splashed water are present and the highest safety standards are required, these new SCHURTER power modules are the perfect choice. Typical applications include harsh industrial environments or demanding medical applications where cleaning and disinfection, as well as maximum overcurrent (short-circuit) protection, are required.
