Measuring specific gravity is commonplace in industry; from raw material testing to multiple instrument experiments in the laboratory of food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and general industrial processes.

The new DSG series of density meters from Bellingham + Stanley consists of two instruments. The DSG40 has a density measuring resolution to 4 decimal places, while the DSG50 offers a higher specification to 5 decimal places (g/cm3). Alternatively, results can be expressed as Brix, % alcohol (w/w or v/v) as well as specific gravity (20/20 or 25/25).

The new density meters follow the same design philosophy as Bellingham + Stanley's RFM refractometers and ADP polarimeters. New and old users alike will find how the simple, bright and color-coded touchscreen makes reading and configuration easy.

The instruments' extensive reporting and security features ensure auditability and data integrity within your company. In addition, the new DSG series complies with FDA regulation 21CFR part 11.
