Sustainable data centers predominate in Eemshaven

The Eemshaven, together with Delfzijl, forms Groningen Seaports. A third of Dutch electricity is produced in this port area. Moreover, it is an ideal hub for large data centers. During the IT Infra event, Cas König, director of Groningen Seaports, among other things, indicate that data centers at this location could even do without backup of diesel generators.
