On Thursday, March 25 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Gert Rietveld and Helko van den Brom from VSL gave a webinar on 'the effects of EMC interference on static electricity meters'. More than 30 members of the association followed this session attentively and were able to ask questions at the end of the session. For members who were unable to attend, the replay is available on request.

VSL is conducting extensive research into the influence of EMC interference on electricity meters. This happens both at VSL and in close collaboration with the University of Twente. This is in response to a number of specific cases and circumstances, both in the field and in the laboratory, in which deviations in the meter instructions up to 2000% have been found.

Did the lunch session or this article arouse your interest?
Then please report here for an extensive webinar on 'MeterEMI, Issue and resolution of problems with static electricity meters caused by conducted interference'. This will be held on April 21 at 10 am with contributions from, among others, VSL and the University of Twente.
