In a water-steam cycle Water is converted into steam, generates energy, and condenses again. It is a closed loop with strict requirements regarding water quality. Permanent monitoring is not a luxury in this process, but a prerequisite. SWAS (Steam Water Analysis System) panels play a central role in this monitoring.
ELSCOLOB has been building inline water analysis for over 40 years. The continuous measurement of pH, conductivity and solved oxygen, precisely the three key parameters for a water-steam cycle, is in our DNA. For truly comprehensive monitoring, we also measure sodium, silica, and phosphate, using analyzers that combine a minimal footprint and extremely low reagent consumption. Analyzers for TOC, DCC, chloride, and sulfate complete the package for the purest water.
However, a SWAS panel is more than that. Sampling, cooling, pressure reduction, and flow controllers are just as much a part of it. All components are modular, so that together with you we can custom system build. Digital data transfer via Ethernet/IP or Profinet provides predictive maintenance and fewer unplanned interventions on top of that.
