FHI sector member Building Automation Deerns is helping in the fight against the coronavirus
On March 24, VNO-NCW issued a article posted online highlighting various companies that make a positive contribution to the fight against the coronavirus. FHI member Deerns is one of the companies that advises hospitals in this long-term battle. They do this by selflessly using their knowledge of hospitals.
What exactly does Deerns do?
The engineering firm with in-depth knowledge of primary processes in hospitals and offers hospitals their skills and knowledge to, among other things, expand the necessary intensive care capacity. When creating additional ICU capacity in areas that are not primarily intended for this purpose, it is important to make the best possible technical adjustments that increase the safety of patients and medical staff.
This includes creating closed rooms to isolate the source of contamination from the rest of the hospital, creating a changing area and hand washing facility at the start of the department, facilities for the ventilator such as oxygen, breathing air and emergency power. If the quick scan shows that there are technical options within the set frameworks to reduce the risks for patient and employee, we will provide concise technical advice on the possibilities for optimization and technical control measures.
FHI is proud that Deerns, a member of the Building Automation sector, is committed in this way. Do you now know more examples of FHI member companies that are committed to the fight against the coronavirus? Let us know.
