SMEs can make use of the SLIM scheme. This subsidy scheme is aimed at stimulating learning and development in SMEs. FHI can, in collaboration with partner iScreen, take care of the entire application process for FHI members.

Due to the corona crisis, the central government wants to use the SLIM scheme again to get SMEs back out of the starting blocks faster. Applications can be submitted until September.

Every small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) can submit a subsidy application. You are an SME if a company employs no more than 250 people and the annual turnover is less than 50 million euros (or the annual balance sheet total is less than 43 million euros).

For small entrepreneurs in the SME sector with less than 50 employees, the percentage for subsidy is as much as 80 percent. All other entrepreneurs can count on a percentage of 60 percent. The minimum costs for subsidy must be 5000 euros.

FHI partner iScreen has previously handled applications for SME companies. The iScreen plan has been proven to be approved last year and therefore fully complies with the guidelines from SLIM. Companies are running with participating in the application no financial risk. The final 'go' after the application has been approved is determined by the organization itself.

Employees receive a talent scan, a conversation, personal development advice, a development plan for the entire company, it motivates, stimulates ownership and provides concrete tools for management. However, the SLIM pot is limited, so a draw follows. A submitted application therefore does not provide certainty.
